For nearly 30 years, Yamaha has led industry in innovation, but we can’t take all the credit. It’s our boaters’ high expectations that drive us to improve our game. To make it faster, more efficient, more exhilarating and more reliable. Here are just a few of our engineers’ notable innovations:
The V MAX SHO® was the very first V6 4.2 liter super high output four stroke for bass boats. It changed the game by merging the quiet, clean-burning, fuel-efficient advantages of a four stroke with a light weight and class-leading hole shot and displacement.
Yamaha’s F350 was the world’s first V8 5.3 liter four stroke outboard. It redefined offshore power and offered an amazing alternative to inboard power, revolutionizing offshore boat design.
